Check Out Our Top 5 Interior Detailing FAQs

  • 1. What do you actually do during an interior detail?

We go way beyond a quick vacuum and wipe-down. We clean seats, carpets, and mats, hit all the cracks and crevices, wipe and dress the dash and panels, clean the glass, and knock out as much dust, dirt, and grime as possible. The goal is to make your cabin feel fresh, not just “less dirty.”

  • 2. Can you get stains and smells out?

We can tackle a lot of tough stuff, but we’re not going to lie and say every stain or odor disappears 100% of the time. Coffee, food, pet mess, and everyday funk usually clean up really well with our process. If you’ve got something serious going on, we’ll take a look, be honest about what’s possible, and do everything we can to make a big improvement.

  • 3. How long does an interior detail take?

It depends on how rough things are and what package you book, but plan on a few hours. If it has been a while since your last deep clean or you’ve got kids, pets, or work gear in there, it’ll probably take a bit longer. When you book, we’ll give you a time window so you know what to expect.

  • 4. Do I need to empty my car before I bring it in?

It helps a ton if you can pull out personal stuff, trash, and anything you don’t want us moving around. We’re happy to toss obvious garbage in a bag, but we won’t guess on what’s important to you. The cleaner the slate, the more time we can spend actually detailing instead of playing “what is this and where does it go.”

  • 5. Do you have a physical shop location in Houma?

All of our detailing services are performed at our shop. Simply drop your vehicle off, and our team will take care of the rest. When you book, we’ll walk you through timing and what to expect so it’s easy and hassle-free.

Our 6-Step Process Leaves Your Interior Refreshed

  • 1. Quick walk-through and game plan

We start by taking a quick look around your interior to see what we are working with. That means checking stains, pet hair, heavy dirt, and any problem spots you point out. From there, we put together a game plan so we hit the areas that matter most to you.

  • 2. Declutter and trash removal

Next, we clear out obvious trash and loose items so we can actually reach everything. Cups, bottles, wrappers, and random stuff in the door pockets all come out. If there is anything that looks important, we set it aside so you know exactly where it is.

  • 3. Full vacuum of seats, carpets, and cracks

Once the interior is cleared, we go in with a thorough vacuum. Seats, carpets, floor mats, trunk, and all the tight spots like between seats and consoles get attention. The goal is to pull up as much dust, dirt, and debris as possible before we start cleaning surfaces.

  • 4. Deep clean on plastics, vinyl, and touch points

After vacuuming, we clean the dash, doors, center console, cup holders, and all the high touch areas. We use proper cleaners and brushes to break up grime in seams and textured surfaces. Then we wipe everything down, so it looks clean and feels good to the touch.

  • 5. Spot treatment for seats and carpets

If your seats and carpets need extra love, we hit stains and heavy traffic areas with the right cleaners. We scrub and, when needed, use extraction to pull junk up from the fibers. This step helps with both how your interior looks and how it smells.

  • 6. Glass, final details, and quality check

We finish by cleaning all the interior glass so you are not staring through streaks and haze. Vents, trim, and little missed spots get one more pass. Before we hand the keys back, we do a final walk-through to make sure your interior actually feels detailed, not just lightly cleaned.
